European standard power cords are used in most European countries such as Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Russia. Since this standard (EN50075) is commonly used throughout Europe, we call it the standard of "Continental Europe".
European standard plug EN50075 test standard:
EN 50075: 1990 "Specification for 2.5A, 250V non-rewirable bipolar flat plug with flexible cord for connection of household and similar class II equipment"
EN 50075:1990 standard applies to flat non-rewirable two-pole plugs that are not earthed and have a rated voltage of 250V ac and a rated current of 2.5A. They are provided with a mains cord for connection to class 1 apparatus, are intended for household and similar uses, have no special protection against ingress of water and are intended for use indoors.
European standard plug EN50075 test items:
1. Label and plug size measurement;
2. Anti-shock protection and structure;
3. Insulation resistance and electric strength;
4. Moisture-proof, soft wire and its connection;
5. Mechanical strength, heat resistance and aging resistance;
6. Current-carrying parts and connections;
7. Creepage distance, electrical clearance and penetration of solid insulation;
8. The insulation material is exceptionally heat-resistant and fire-resistant.
CE certification process:
1. Fill in the application form (product information, company information);
